Family Literacy Day

Family Literacy Day is an opportunity to celebrate the national Family Literacy Day in a fun, inventive and informative way. Several stations and activities are set up that highlight everyday activities that encourage emergent literacy in children ages 0-6. Family Literacy Day is an opportunity for parents to engage with their children and take away suggestions and ideas to make their home environment more literacy friendly. The day will include information regarding resources in the community, including any learning opportunities for further education.
