In this session, we will explore themes and topics related to digital literacy that can be used for all learning opportunities. By the end of this session, you will have detailed knowledge of one website that includes multiple tutorials, activities, and resources for digital literacy. During small group discussions, you will explore basic computer skills (hardware and software), internet skills (searching and email), and other foundational learning skills (math, reading and grammar, etc.).
This session is designed for front-line educators (tutors, instructors and facilitators), but everyone is welcome. Leanne and Wendy will be repeating this session in February.
If you are not connected with one of ECALA’s funded agencies (staff, volunteer or facilitator), there will be a $20 registration fee/person. CALPs outside of Edmonton will be charged this fee.
