Cerebral Palsy Alberta (CPAA) is committed to empowering, supporting and enriching the lives of individuals affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities to achieve their full potential.
Statistically, individuals with disabilities are one third less likely to be employed and one half less likely to participate in post-secondary education. The rates of participation in extracurricular activities are far below that of the general population, and they are more likely to engage in passive, solitary activities.
