Description:
In the past, our learners may have had negative experiences while trying to learn. One way we can support their learning is to create a positive learning environment. In this workshop, we will look at how we can modify our communication style to be more supportive by:
- Looking at how to incorporate positive teacher language when working with our learners
- Learning the differences between fixed and growth mindsets
- Practicing changing what we say to our learners to be more supportive
